Combination cut and loop piles use a mixture of styles to create a patterned look such as squares or swirls. Level versions have everything at the same level and can add the illusion of space to a room while textured versions use different lengths to create the pattern.

While you can put deep pile carpets in high traffic areas of the home, you will always want to remember that over time, they can flatten somewhat with the pressure being applied to them. However, for less high traffic areas such as bedrooms and dining rooms, deep pile carpets offer an excellent degree of luxury and comfort.
